SCMI1 has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill a vacant Logistician role. The candidate will function in accordance with the equivalent responsibilities of an Engineering Technician IV to provide critical technical assistance to Navy Regional Maintenance Center Project Managers to include:
Support resource allocation and scheduling activities.
Coordinate mandatory assessment scheduling with maintenance teams.
Attend planning sessions to track status and readiness requirements.

Security Clearance Requirements:
• Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Security Clearance.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
Associate Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other related field
5 to 7 years of shipboard HM&E experience
Demonstrated proficiency with naval engineering key performance tracking metrics, technical writing, and system validation procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation pertaining to critical shipboard assessments
Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Familiarity with Navy Board of Inspection and Survey procedures
MS Office suite proficiency required
Have completed, or ability to complete, local RMC Job Certification Requirements training within two years of hire.
Familiarity with Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual requirements
Ability to use clear and concise oral and written communications
