Supply Chain Management Inc.1.com (SCMI1) has an exciting opportunity in support of Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) for an Engineering Technician with an electrical focus.
Your resume must have the following skills and 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) in the following areas to be considered for the position:
1. Experience independently or leading a team of technicians in troubleshooting, repairing or testing US Naval ship structural, mechanical systems.
2. Experience independently or leading a team performing Formal material condition assessments (TSRA, ICMP, INSURV or similar) of US Navy ship's systems.
3. Experience in communicating troubleshooting issues (if any) or assessments with official reports.
4. Documented experience with MS Office, Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Electronic Departure from Specifications (eDFS), Navy Ship's Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR), and/or TASS-Info.
Specific Experience: The experience required is a combination of mechanical and electrical disciplines, but is primarily mechanical in nature.
(a) Assessment and oversight of repairs of U.S. Navy ships’ laundry and galley equipment, associated fire suppression systems, and ventilation systems.
(b) Interpreting naval engineering drawings and piping diagrams.
