Supply Chain Management Inc.1.com (SCMI1) has an exciting opportunity in support of Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) for an Engineering Technician with an electrical focus, specifically shipboard electro-hydraulic equipment.
Your resume must have the following skills and a minimum of 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) in the following areas to be considered for the position:
1. Experience independently or leading a team of technicians in troubleshooting, repairing or testing US Naval ship structural, mechanical, or electrical equipment/systems.
2. Experience independently or leading a team performing Formal material condition assessments (TSRA, ICMP, INSURV or similar) of US Navy ship's systems.
3. Experience in communicating troubleshooting issues (if any) or assessments with official reports.
4. Documented experience with MS Office, Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Electronic Departure from Specifications (eDFS), Navy Ship's Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR), and/or TASS-Info.
Specific Experience: The experience required is a combination of mechanical and electrical disciplines, but is primarily electrical in nature.
(a) Assessment and oversight of repairs of the following U.S. Navy shipboard electro-hydraulic equipment: steering systems, boat davits, cranes, elevators and hoists, or similar control and electric drive systems on high pressure hydraulic equipment.
(b) Interpreting naval engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
